Our Associate’s Degree in Registered Nursing prepares students for entry-level positions in nursing and to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The nursing program includes nursing courses, general education courses, and clinical experiences in healthcare settings where students will apply knowledge gained to provide safe, patient-centered care. These experiences are in a variety of health care settings such as acute, sub-acute, and long-term care with community-based experiences under the supervision of nursing faculty. In addition, students practice nursing intervention skills in the fully equipped college laboratory. Evening and day sections are available. The program is accredited by the New York State Department of Education Professional Education Program Review and accredited by the New York State Board of Regent.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) class offered by AMG School of Licensed Practical Nursing (ASoLPN) in New York is a comprehensive course designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to become successful LVNs. The program covers topics such as anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and medical-surgical nursing, and provides hands-on clinical experience in a variety of settings.
