What used to be called an EMT, Paramedic, or EMR refresher course is now a continuing education course. These courses are blended learning courses where most of the education takes place online in a distributed, self-paced format or via a virtual instructor-led, live course format. In addition, there is an optional one in-person skills day at our Norwich training center. All of these continuing education courses are State of Connecticut approved and meet the National Registry of EMTs National Continued Competency Program (NCCP) requirements. By completing all assigned content and attending the in-person skills day, you will obtain all required continuing education required to renew both your Connecticut and National certification/license. If you are interested in the in-person skills day, information on scheduling will be provided after purchasing the refresher. Online courses are offered on a continuing basis and must be completed within six (6) months of purchase. Online courses do not need to be completed prior to the skills day.
