The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Program primary objective is to build competencies and skills necessary for entry-level employment as a Licensed Practical Nurse. The program will enable its graduates to acquire training which will enhance upward future promotions. Students will have hands-on training along with practical job-related experiences upon successful completion of the program as well as CPR training. Students taking this program must meet all state requirements for licensure. The Licensed Practical Nursing Program prepares students to take the NCLEX-PN to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. The program also provides the knowledge and skills necessary to work in a variety of settings, including hospital, nursing home, doctors’ offices, private care, and other healthcare facilities.
