The nurse assistant program prepares students to function in the role of a nurse assistant under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse. This program is designed to meet the curriculum requirements of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). The course requires completion of 160 hours of theory and clinical training with 17 modules that are focused on various aspects of residents’ care.
