Overview

All Is Well HCA offers a comprehensive and student-centered Certified Medical Assistant program, designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in various healthcare settings. This 24-week, hybrid-format course prepares students for roles in physicians’ offices, clinics, and group practices.

What You'll Learn

Through a blend of lectures, presentations, videos, clinical skills training, and interactive games, you'll learn to:

Administer injections and medication
Measure and record vital signs and medical histories
Prepare and handle medical instruments and supplies
Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory testing
Understand and communicate effectively about body systems and medical procedures
Complete administrative tasks in healthcare facilities
Understand laws and ethics in medical practices
Become knowledgeable about various medical fields
Perform EKG and phlebotomy procedures.

Successful completion of the course will prepare you to apply for and pass the Certification Exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
