A cybersecurity certificate or degree is intended to equip you with the knowledge and skills to defend computer operating systems, networks, and data from cyber-attacks. Although these programs incorporate theoretical concepts, they are technical in nature. Having this technical knowledge is key. Whether you are designing system architectures with certain security characteristics or detecting risks, threats, and vulnerabilities, you are on the front line of defense.

The Dental Assisting Program is a 12 month, Fall-entry only, full-time day program with limited enrollment (24 students). The program seeks to provide each student with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to become a vital part of the dental health care team and to meet the requirements of the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) and Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) examining entity.
The mission of the program is to provide for and support competency-based learning for a multicultural community. As one of the accredited Dental Assisting Programs in Texas, the program is committed to excellence in helping to meet the diverse needs of both traditional and nontraditional students. The program seeks to provide each student with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to become a functional dental team member and meet the requirements of the national examining entity.

At Alpha Health Institute, we have a comprehensive Electrocardiogram (EKG/ECG) certification course. Technical support specialists may go on to supervisory positions in which they oversee the work of support staff and handle more complicated problems. With additional training or education, a support specialist may pursue a career as a quality assurance engineer who tests computer programs for problems, or designs software to perform such tests.
