The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) license program at Aims Community College - HSTE is designed to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to become licensed vocational nurses. Students will take courses in nursing fundamentals, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, and geriatrics to prepare them for entry-level positions in healthcare. Upon completion of the program, graduates will be prepared to sit for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN) and begin their careers as licensed practical nurses in a variety of healthcare settings.
