At Access Careers, we proudly present our comprehensive Medical Assistant Hybrid Program, where students are trained to become skilled and efficient medical assistants.
The program constitutes a total of 900 hours, which includes theory, practical skills, and a meaningful internship.
Students will engage in 600 hours of theory and skill-based learning. This is conducted online with a live instructor and also in our skill lab under guided supervision.
An extensive 300-hour internship at a doctor's office concludes the classroom training. We maintain affiliations with top independent doctors on Long Island and with practitioners in the Northwell System.

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll primarily receive and fill prescription requests from a variety of sources, under the careful supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Your future workplace could be in hospitals, community pharmacies, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities. Work can be either part-time or full-time, possibly requiring evening or weekend shifts based on location.

After completing our program, students are encouraged to sit for the Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) exam through the ExCPT (Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians). Our affiliation agreement with Walgreen’s means successful graduates who pass the ExCPT exam may have the opportunity to intern with their organization.
