This course is intended to train the students in understanding the techniques and operation of accurate EKG recording. It also teaches the basis principles of electrophysiology of heart and recognizing the waveforms of electrocardiograph. The course covers medical terminology, medical law & ethics, supplies and equipment needed for EKG recording & Identification of EKG machine and its parts. After successfully completion EKG Training, students will be eligible for employment in physician's office, laboratories. 

This course is intended to provide the understanding of basic principles of blood drawing, practicing blood draw on artificial arm, identification of color coded tubes common sites of venipuncture and skin puncture; universal precut (precautions) and isolation techniques and handling the specimens for accurate results. A phlebotomist technician works under the direction of a physician, pathologist or laboratory supervisor to draw blood, process the sample and identify the patient and transport to the laboratory.  After successful completion, the student will eligible for employment in physician's office, laboratories & hospitals as phlebotomist.
