This program includes instructions and will give a general working knowledge of safety rules, logging regulations, vehicle pre/post trip inspections, substance abuse, speed control and management. Our truck driving program is designed to provide each student with specialized training so that a student can pass a standard road/skills test administered by trucking companies. Our course is 6 days a week for 3 weeks minimum. Students will be in school for minimum of 19 days and must have 160 hours to graduate. The first 4 days are in the classroom preparing to pass the written CDL test. The second week will be learning how to shift and drive a tractor trailer. The third week will be on the backing pad learning how to back a tractor trailer. The final test is given at the end of the third week.
