Frequently asked questions

Do you have a program for active CNAs?

Yes we do! If you have an existing CNA license or are in the process of getting one, you can register for Dreambound Candidate Portal.

What is the criteria for becoming a CNA through Dreambound?

You'll need to obtain a High School Diploma or GED or complete an 8th Grade test. You may be required to undergo a background check for felonies or certain misdemeanors involving assault or stealing in the last 5 years. You'll also need to provide a copy of your Social Security card and one of your state-issued IDs (e.g., state ID, driver's license, American passport). You may be asked for other documents such as your recent TB and COVID test results. We match you with our state-approved CNA training provider in your area. To fill out the Dreambound Application form, click here.

Do you help out with job placement after I am finished with my training?

Currently, our job placement program is limited to Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Denver, Los Angeles and Phoenix. We are working on expanding our reach to other states. Stay tuned!

How do I retrieve my CNA license number?

We are not able to help you obtain your license number. You can visit your state nursing board website or contact the Nurse Aide Registry in your state here.

If I missed the certification renewal period, do I have to complete the CNA training again to become certified?

That depends on the state you’re in. You can call the Nurse Aide Registry in your area to find out.
