In this program, upon completion, the student will work at an entry level in a beauty salon as a stylist or manicurist or they will be able to start their own business either with a beauty salon or work at home.

Cal State East Bay’s Construction Management Certificate Program provides you with an up-to-date understanding of construction management fundamentals and equips you with the leadership skills you’ll need to advance to a management position or create your own construction business. Upon completion of the program, you’ll be prepared for the day-to-day challenges you will face in the field, from managing subcontractors and cash flow to controlling costs and minimizing risk. 

This program prepares students for jobs installing, repairing, maintaining and servicing electrical and electronics equipment. Electrical/electronics jobs are found in the fields of electrical, medical, industrial, commercial systems, programmable logic controller systems, automotive, communications and others. The following courses are part of the Electricians Trainee Program and approved by the Division of Apprenticeship Standards: ELECT-120, 121, 130, 220, 230, 266, 267, 271, ELTRN-210 and CNT-103. To earn a certificate of achievement, students must complete each course used to meet a certificate requirement with a “C” grade or higher and maintain an overall GPA of 2.5 or higher in the coursework required for the certificate.

Maintenance technicians are effectively mechanics specializing in large-scale machinery. There are a number of jobs that fall into the world of industrial maintenance. From maintenance technicians to industrial mechanics, each role is unique to encompass specified or a variety of large-scale machinery.
