Our Advanced Gunsmithing program consists of 65 lessons (765 clock hours).  Our learning model is self-paced, open enrollment, allowing you up to 2 years to complete your program.

We offer a variety of certification options, including basic welding, advanced welding, and specialized welding. Our experienced instructors will provide hands-on training in a state-of-the-art facility, allowing students to practice their skills in a realistic work environment. The CDL-A program is offered in in a weekday or weekend format. The weekday option meets Monday through Thursday, from 7 am-5:30 pm for four weeks and the weekend option meets Saturday and Sunday, 7 am-5:30 pm for eight weeks. Graduates will be prepared to test for a Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Students are given the opportunity to take the CDL driving test at their local DMV office in the same vehicle they used to complete their training.

To be accepted into the program, students are required to obtain and submit a South Carolina CDL Permit, a DOT physical, and a DOT drug screen before class starts. A 10-year driving record is obtained from the SCDMV during the application process as well. All paperwork must be completed and submitted before the student can be scheduled for a class. The program has been inspected, approved, and licensed by S.C. Department of Motor Vehicles. All instructors meet the department’s standards and are certified by the DMV.

The online Logistics and Supply Chain Management Certificate from CCU will help you gain a deeper understanding of the processes and fundamentals within supply chain and inventory management, including purchasing and inbound logistics; material handling in distribution centers; warehousing and warehouse management; financial and inventory controls; transportation and distribution; and reverse and global logistics.

The Master Gunsmithing Program® at Pennsylvania Gunsmith School® is an all-encompassing program of study that has been developed by practicing Gunsmiths and employers over a 74-year period. The program is constantly updated and revised to help assist you with gunsmith training and to obtain an entry-level job in the Gunsmithing field.

The Construction Manager Technical Certificate of Credit prepares students for entry-level Construction Management supervisory positions. Topics include principles of accounting, estimating review, construction drafting, codes review, computerized scheduling, and construction contracting.

The need for qualified heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) technicians is never going away. Collin College can teach you what it takes to work in the residential HVAC industry installing and servicing gas and electric furnaces and heat pump systems.

You will learn how to work safely and responsibly within Environmental Protection Agency guidelines and standards that apply to the HVAC industry, and identify and use HVAC equipment, components and tools, while understanding their functions within the industry. You will also learn common mechanical, electrical and electronic components such as compressors, switches, thermostats, motors and fans. You will even be able to practice all of the techniques you learn with heat pumps, heating units, a/c units, refrigeration units and more with hands-on instruction in Collin College facilities.
