What's Phlebotomy All About?

Our Course Breakdown

At Zurik Healthcare Institute, we run a nine-week Phlebotomy Technician program. The course is split into two sections: the classroom phase and the clinical phase.

• In the classroom phase, you'll cover 70 hours of theory.
• The clinical phase involves 20 hours of hands-on experience. You'll be mastering both intravenous and capillary blood drawing in a real-life clinical setting.

The goal? To have you performing at least 25 successful, unsupervised venipunctures using standard equipment, and with a syringe and butterfly apparatus.
