Course Description
Our training program follows the Illinois Department of Public Health approved curriculum and is designed to equip students with the essential competencies for effective nursing assistance. The curriculum covers:
Role within the health care team
Understanding of body functions and systems
Assistance in diagnosis and vital signs
Upholding rights and safety of residents
Provision of nutrition and personal care
Care for patients with special needs
Our program includes 80 hours of theoretical learning and 40 hours of hands-on practical training. We evaluate students' progress through periodic tests, and success in the State finals examination is required for CNA Certification.
