Gain an introduction to hospital equipment and supplies, as well as advanced skills in areas including: 12 lead EKG, basic phlebotomy, performing urinary catheterization, infection control, glucometer use, sterile technique, specimen collection and handling, measuring output of bodily fluids including chest tubes and surgical site drains, tracheotomy and supplemental oxygen care, and BLS certification and training.
