Overview

Tender Care Training Center offers an accredited Pharmacy Technician course, designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in various pharmaceutical settings. The course prepares you to pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam (PTCE) and function effectively under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.

Course Requirements

Before you join, ensure you have:

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)

  • Ten (10) Panel Drug Screen prior to clinical externship

Dress Code

On designated days, students are required to wear a uniform comprising hospital scrubs, Navy Top, Navy Pants, White Lab Coat/White Shoes with non-slip soles.

Patient Care Technician Training Program

In our Patient Care Technician (PCT) Training Program, you will be groomed into a versatile healthcare professional with multi-faceted certifications.

Key Features:

  • This course encompasses Nurse Aide, Phlebotomy Technician, EKG Technician, and PCT Certification Exam preparation.

  • Our program aims to provide comprehensive care training for various settings such as hospitals, emergency rooms, outpatient centers, nursing homes, and more.

Job Roles:

  • As a PCT, you will be part of the core patient care team.

  • Your responsibilities will include assisting in patient examinations, monitoring health, collecting samples, maintaining patient charts, and prepping rooms for examinations.

  • Your role may extend to performing administrative, clinical, and laboratory duties.

Our PCT Training program shapes professionals who have more direct patient interaction than many other healthcare workers. While you will typically be supervised by a physician, Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), this program equips you to make significant contributions to patient care.

Note: To be eligible for the PCT test, you must already hold certifications as a Certified Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy Tech, and Electrocardiogram Technician.
