The Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) certification program at Steel Center for Career and Technical Education is designed to provide students with the theoretical and practical knowledge required to perform electrocardiograms properly. In this program, students learn about the anatomy and physiology of the heart, cardiac arrhythmias, and ECG interpretation techniques. Upon completion of the program, students are well-equipped to take the national certification exam and work as ECG technicians.

Steel Center for CTE is a career and technical education school in Jefferson Hills, Pennsylvania. Its occupational training includes Automotive Service Technician, Certified Nursing Assistant, Cosmetology, Electrician, HVAC, and Welding. The school also offers career majors connected with business innovations and social media marketing, advertising and design, baking and pastry, building trades, carpentry, collision repair, culinary arts, cybersecurity and networking, health assistants, medical professions, public safety, sports medicine and rehabilitation, and veterinary assisting.
