Program Overview:
South University's Columbia campus offers a Bachelor of Science in Health Science degree program designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in various healthcare settings. The program offers a broad core curriculum covering humanities, mathematics, science, business, and the evolving healthcare delivery system in the U.S. Students have the option to pursue the Generalist Track or specialize in Public Health based on their career goals.

Upon completion of the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences program, graduates will:
- Apply Health Sciences Principles: Utilize principles and theories of natural, social, behavioral, and health sciences to serve as competent healthcare professionals.
- Utilize Information Technology: Effectively search, analyze, and report healthcare-related data using information technology and health management information systems.
- Apply Organizational and Management Skills: Apply organizational and management skills incorporating knowledge of political, financial, economic, and public health issues impacting the healthcare delivery system.
