The Certified Home Health Aide class offered by Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing (SHSoN) in New York is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality care to home health patients. The course covers topics such as patient safety, infection control, nutrition, and communication. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the New York State Home Health Aide Certification Exam.
