The Master of Science Family Nurse Practitioner program is designed for working Registered Nurses (RN’s) in New York State who hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing and are seeking licensure and certification to provide primary care as a Family Nurse Practitioner. The program is designed to build knowledge and skill in Nursing Science, Leadership, Quality, Technology, Policy, Health Delivery Systems, and independent clinical practice. (RNs) can complete this program in 36 months, taking one 8-week class at a time. With the exception of one 1-week class, courses are 100% online. 600 clinical hours are required.
