The Certificate in Human Resource Management program explores the HR function within an organization as well as its various professional roles and responsibilities. Core coursework covers HR fundamentals, including talent management, compensation, and employment law as well as principles of human management and emerging trends in the industry. From there, you will have the opportunity to customize your program to your goals with electives in areas such as environmental health, diversity, benefits, training, and managing culture in international workplaces. Your undergraduate certificate program covers:

  • Staffing, training, compensation, and other essentials of HR management
  • Identifying and evaluating ethical issues and compliance practices
  • Applying management principles in private, public, for-profit, and non-profit organizations
  • Analyzing current issues and challenges involved in human resources
