PennWest Clarion's Somerset County campus, tucked away in the scenic locale of Somerset County, Pennsylvania, delivers a distinctive educational experience through its focus on nursing education. Established in 2019, this satellite campus primarily offers a two-year Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program. Designed to equip students with the necessary skills for client-centered care in healthcare settings, the program features an intensive curriculum complemented by practical clinical experiences from the very first semester, utilizing UPMC Somerset as the primary site for training.

A strong partnership with Penn Highlands Community College further enriches the learning experience by offering additional general education and support courses. This program has noticeable appeal, evidenced by its growth from 14 students in its inaugural year to 41 students in 2024.
