Penn Asian Vocational Institute
Penn Asian Vocational Institute is a vocational training institution in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It prepares people for caregiving and healthcare support fields through Become a Caregiver, Become an HHA, and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training. Courses are led by experienced nurses and are designed to support employment, workforce development, and career advancement. Nurse aide training includes classroom instruction, laboratory experience, clinical rotation, and CPR certification, with preparation for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Examination. Home health aide training covers direct care for seniors, including activities of daily living, body mechanics, nutritional and diabetic care, and early intervention. Training is available in Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Hindi, Haitian Creole, and English. The institute also provides vocational English instruction through a partnership with Penn State University's Abington campus.
