Complete your internship at our onsite dental practice! Hands-on training from experienced dental professionals! In addition to 144 hours of classroom study, students at Pacific Northwest Dental Assisting School have the opportunity to complete their required 50-hour internship at our onsite dental practice. Unlike other dental assisting training programs, you won’t have to search for a dental practice to intern at. We want you to focus on developing the skills you need to be a successful dental assistant, not stressing over whether you’ll find an internship opportunity. You’ll work alongside Dr. Bharathi and her staff of hygienists and experienced dental assistants to learn the essential skills you need to succeed.

Since 2008, the programs at Pacific Northwest Dental Assisting School have helped hundreds of students from Camas, Vancouver, Portland, Washougal, Oregon City, Tualatin, Beaverton, Gresham, Tigard, Hazel Dell, Hillsboro, and Battleground launch their dental assisting careers. Our experienced instructors create a fun, encouraging, exciting atmosphere where students can develop the clinical skills and personality needed to succeed as dental assistants. In addition to classroom training, Pacific Northwest Dental Assisting School offers the rare opportunity to observe real dental procedures at our on-site affiliated dental practice. However, there’s so much more to being a great dental assistant than hands-on skills. This is why our instructors focus on the human side of the dental field, focusing on empathy, helping patients relax, and maintaining a positive attitude.
