This workshop meets four times (two weekends in a row) for three hours each session. Full attendance and participation in all 12 instructional hours is required for successful completion. Manditory attendance required for all sessions as scheduled, no makeup days allowed. In the workshop, students will learn to place and manage intravenous lines and infusion kits, and will also be taught how to calculate and administer medication intravenously. Upon completion, students will receive a workshop certificate in IV Placement & Infusion. This is a skills training workshop and not a career course or certification.
