In person Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) license Classes
Itasca and Mesabi campuses (distance option Rainy River). The diploma program prepares students to become an LPN for a fulfilling career of direct patient care. Students can choose to stay at that level or be accepted into an advanced program. As a graduate of the PN program, students are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Exam for the Practical Nurse (NCLEX-PN).
Hybrid Certified Nursing Assistant Classes
The Certified Nursing Assistant certification class offered by Minnesota North College - Rainy River Campus (MNC - RRC) is an intensive five week program designed to prepare students to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. This class provides students with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to excel in providing quality care for patients. Upon successful completion of the class, students will earn a certification and will be eligible for employment as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Minnesota.
