The Nursing Assistant Certificate program in the Academy of Health Professions prepares students for entry-level employment as a nursing assistant. The program combines theory and practice instruction with long-term care experiences, and fulfills the Massachusetts Department of Public Health requirements. Students who complete the program are eligible to take the American Red Cross certification examination and upon passing can work as a certified nursing assistant.
