This course is for students who want to prepare for employment in the health care industry, while gaining valuable information to be successful in any health career field. The Nursing Assistant program prepares students to perform routine nursing-related services to patients in hospitals or long-term care facilities under the training and supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. The Nursing Assistant students develops leadership, social, civic, and career skills through participation in the Career and Technical Student Organization HOSA (Future Health Professionals).
