The class costs $2,300 total. Monthly payment options are available, with interest rates from 0-12%. MedCerts also has financial aid options for those who qualify through: MyCAA, state workforce funding (including WIOA), and Department of Defense Credentialing Assistance or COOL funding for the Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard. What is an IT Security Specialist?

The IT Security Specialist implements and monitors security on networks, applications, and operating systems, and responds quickly and effectively to security breaches. The Security+ certification is a foundation for advanced security certifications or career roles.

• We recommend a prior CompTIA Network+ certification or two years of experience in IT administration with a security focus before taking this program.
