Fletcher Technical Community College’s Practical Nursing program in Schriever, Louisiana, is a diploma program that trains students through classroom instruction, service learning, and supervised clinical activities in hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare agencies. The program is approved by the Louisiana State Board of Practical Nurse Examiners and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing. It consists of four semesters and can be completed in two years. Students must meet qualifying ACT, ACCUPLACER Next Generation, or college-level English and mathematics criteria, be at least 18 years old, and hold a high school diploma, HiSET, or GED.
