You will learn basic medical terminology, documentation, confidentiality, professional etiquette, customer service and patient satisfaction, and Microsoft Word and Excel. You’ll also prepare to take the National Healthcare Association’s (NHA) Certified Medical Administrative Assistant exam. Upon completion of this course, you will earn a LaGuardia certificate of completion and can earn up to 6 college credits towards an AS Degree in Business Administration: Healthcare Management at LaGuardia Community College.
