Program Aim

Entrance Requirements

Entrance into the program requires a completed Enrollment Agreement, evidence of a High School diploma/GED, up-to-date immunizations, a general medical physical form, passing of the Basic Skills Test, and proof of immunization requirements. Students also need to clear a background check and drug screening, provide CPR certification, and have an interview with the Program Director.

Nursing Assistant Review (CNA)

Our Nursing Assistant Review program is a stepping stone for Home Health Aides to elevate their career as nursing assistants. Upon completion, candidates will be equipped to ace both written and skill performance exams, earning their Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credentials. The program encapsulates hands-on practice of 22 essential skills and exposure to questions similar to those in the board exam.

Entrance Requirements

To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Home Health Aide (HHA) certificate.

• Proof of a high school diploma or a GED.

• For those aged 17 or older, without high school completion or GED, they must demonstrate the potential to benefit from the program by passing the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test with minimum verbal and math scores of 200 and 210 respectively.

• Completion of an Enrollment Agreement.

• Up-to-date immunizations and submission of a documented general medical physical form before the commencement of externship.

Please note that any changes in your application status will be kept on record for one year. If you were not granted admission and would like to review your file, a written request can be submitted.

Training Program Description

This Christian-oriented training initiative offers a range of health education programs, including Professional Nursing (Associate Degree in Science), Practical Nursing (PN), Patient Care Technician (PCT), Nursing Assistant Review (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), and NCLEX-RN/PN Remedial.

• The programs are tailored to prepare students to deliver safe and compassionate care under the guidance of registered professionals.

• Students gain eligibility for relevant exams upon program completion.

• The school holds approval from the Florida Board of Nursing, The Florida Department of Education, and Commission for Independent Education.

Entrance Requirements:

• Evidence of High School diploma or GED.

• Updated immunizations.

• Medical physical form.

• Evidence of a negative drug screen and absence of active tuberculosis.

• Evidence of meeting immunization requirements.

• Florida Department of Law Enforcement Level 2 Background Check and 12 Panel Drug Screen.

• American Heart Association's CPR card with Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers.

• Successful interview with the Program Director.

• Anatomy, Physiology, Pharmacology, Medical & Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Obstetric Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing, and Advanced Medical / Surgical Nursing.

Home Health Aide Training Program

Our Home Health Aide (HHA) program aims to offer essential knowledge and skills to students who aspire to embark on a medical career in a compassionate and nurturing environment. This is a state-of-the-art program that enables students to play a significant role in caring for the sick, disabled, and elderly.

Program Highlights

• Focused on providing hands-on experience and personalized care techniques.
• Trains students for work environments like homes, assisted living or nursing home facilities.
• Upon completion, students receive a diploma and can start working in their field of training.

Admission Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Applicants aged 17 or older without a high school diploma or GED must pass the School Basic Skills Test with a minimum score of 75% or higher.
• Completion of an Enrollment Agreement.
• Updated immunizations and a general medical physical form for the student file prior to externship.

The program is a perfect blend of theoretical and practical exposure, ensuring that graduates are equipped with the required skills to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
