BLS for Healthcare Providers teaches skills using the American Heart Association’s proven Practice-While-Watching technique, which allows instructors to observe students, provide feedback and guide students’ acquisition of skills.

In person Certified Nursing Assistant Classes

This course provides the student with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform basic care services for a patient (acute care setting) or resident (long-term care setting) or an individual in a home health setting. It prepares the student to function in the role of nursing assistant under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or licensed practical nurse (LPN).  The course includes 84 hours of lecture and skills training with the option to attend 40 hours of clinical experience in a hospital or nursing home ($200 separate fee).  Completers of the CNA program will be able to challenge the CNA licensing exam in the state of Florida and immediately work as a Patient Care Attendant and/or Home Health Aide in any Medicare approved center.
