Graduates of the Nursing degree program serve the health needs of individuals in a variety of health care settings and are prepared academically and clinically to work in hospitals, nursing and rehabilitation facilities and doctor's offices. Experienced faculty bring a wide range of hands-on experience into the classroom, labs and clinical placements.

The program can be completed in either two years of full-time study or four years of part-time study.

Program graduates are eligible to take the National Comprehensive Licensing Exam (NCLEX) for Registered Nurses.

Associate Degree in Business Administration

The Business Administration A.S. program, designed to be a transfer program toward a bachelor's degree, will set you on a path toward an advanced degree in a number of business-related four-year programs.

Coursework is equally balanced between business and the liberal arts and sciences, and mathematics through at least pre-calculus is required. Students will complete a capstone course in their second year of study in the program. This course is a review of Economics, Accounting, Business Law, Organization & Management, Marketing and Statistics. Students who have completed one full-time semester of study or successfully completed 12 credit hours may participate in an optional internship opportunity. The program has a longstanding relationship with the Disney World Internship program and many other local and regional internship opportunities are available.

Students who complete this program receive a solid two-year foundation in the field of business and, in many cases, can transfer with junior status to a four-year college or university. Students transfer into programs such as business, finance, marketing, accounting, economics and management.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography is a one-year certificate program offered through the Medical Imaging Department. The goal of the program is to prepare competent entry level general sonographers in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavioral) learning domains. Sonography has recently developed into a specialized and technical part of diagnostic medical imaging. The demands on a sonographer require a working knowledge of cross sectional anatomy, pathology and its echogenic appearance, as well as scanning techniques to obtain the optimum image.
