This is a program of the Office Technology Department, which offers convenient, flexible, and supportive instruction through coursework available in both online and open-entry learning formats.
As a healthcare documentation specialist, you will learn to transcribe doctors' notes into professionally formatted medical reports. In HCC's certificate program you'll gain a foundation in medical terminology and processes before moving on to transcription skills. Upon completion, you will be ready for an entry level position in a hospital or medical office.
