The Security Guard certification program at Gateway Community College is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge needed to begin a career in the security industry. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on training, students learn about topics such as threat assessment, emergency response, and patrolling techniques. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to take the state licensing exam to become certified security guards.
