The CPR/Basic Life Support certification program at Galveston College is a comprehensive course designed to equip individuals with the skills necessary to provide immediate emergency care to individuals experiencing cardiopulmonary emergencies. Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practice, participants will learn proper techniques for administering CPR, using an AED, and managing choking situations. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive CPR/Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association, which is valid for two years.
