Offered at our main campus in Tallahassee, Florida, our nationally accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program provides students with quality preparation and on-the-job experience in nursing. The BSN program is a limited access/limited enrollment upper division major comprised of sequential course offerings and elective courses. Students are accepted each Fall, Spring, and Summer semester. Graduates of the BSN program are well-prepared for the national licensure exam to become a registered nurse (RN) and have the foundation necessary to pursue higher education.

The BSN program is FOUR consecutive semesters in length (15 months) and provides learning experiences in various clinical settings, including community health agencies, clinics, hospitals, and homes.  Nursing courses include classroom and laboratory activities correlated with supervised clinical practice experiences. Students will develop skills in managing patients from various backgrounds and cultures. The program moves through the continuum of care and the spectrum of complexity in the clinical setting across the lifespan.

Florida State University Schools, located in Tallahassee, FL, offers a wide range of educational programs, ranging from the Certified Nursing Assistant program to more advanced degrees. The school is led by Director Dr. Karen Holbrook, who has been with the institution for more than two decades.
