This 120-hour (40 hours of Theory, 40 hours of Laboratory and 40 hours of Clinical hours) prepares individuals to work as caregivers and assist licensed nurses in various healthcare settings such as nursing homes, hospitals or home health care. This course teaches the fundamentals of the Nursing Assistant (Classroom, Laboratory and Clinical) using equipment that simulates real on-the-job situations. All subjects and lectures are taught along with practical hands-on as well as specific safety information related to the topics. The students will be prepared to pass the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) Competency Examination to become Certified Nurse Aides (CNA).
