The Instructor-Coordinator program at Dorsey College in Michigan is designed to prepare EMS Providers to become EMS Instructors. In addition to the teaching component of the Instructor-Coordinator program, students are also prepared on the proper documentation and management of an EMS education program. The entry-level EMS educator engages in learner-centered, outcome-based practices articulated by the curriculum. Successful completion of the Instructor-Coordinator program at Dorsey College provides the opportunity for building and developing teaching skills on a solid foundation that can lead to higher levels of instructional and administrative expertise. Successful completion of the Instructor-Coordinator program is designed to prepare participants to practice responsibly as an entry-level EMS instructor, once licensed.
