The Nursing Assistant Program is a one hundred and twelve (112) hour approved course which provides the core knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality health care to residents in nursing homes, assisted-living facilities and to hospital patients. Students will be taught the proper way to move residents/patients and the basics of personal care, feeding and bathing. Other skills include taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure) and proper emergency protocol.
