Our Facilities Maintenance HVAC Course 1 Hybrid and In-Person courses are 6-month programs, which serves as an excellent training programs for students who want to get their start in the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Industries or Facilities Maintenance. These courses provide students with knowledge they will need to gain their EPA certificate as well.
This program focuses on key areas and principles of HVAC, electrical and plumbing: residential and light commercial electrical and refrigeration system operation and troubleshooting, climate control systems, residential and light commercial plumbing, solar panel installation and a basic overview of system applications. This course covers the operation and troubleshooting of electrical and climate control systems and helps students become familiar with air conditioning units, solar panels and plumbing maintenance. It also includes an advanced study of refrigeration and ice machine systems. This course covers all the material included in Course 1 and provides advanced training in medium and low-temperature commercial refrigeration applications, heat pumps, installations and air flow.
