Our Facilities Maintenance HVAC Course 1 Hybrid and In-Person courses are 6-month programs, which serves as an excellent training programs for students who want to get their start in the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Industries or Facilities Maintenance. Facilities Maintenance - HVAC Course 1

DeHart Technical School offers a comprehensive HVAC/R Facilities Maintenance Course that prepares students for a successful career in the HVAC industry. The program includes hands-on training and flexible class schedules to accommodate working students.

This course covers the operation and troubleshooting of electrical and climate control systems and helps students become familiar with air conditioning units, solar panels and plumbing maintenance. It also includes an advanced study of refrigeration and ice machine systems. This course covers all the material included in Course 1 and provides advanced training in medium and low-temperature commercial refrigeration applications, heat pumps, installations and air flow.

In addition to residential and light commercial HVAC/R training, our programs include electrical and plumbing training to give you the additional skills you’ll need to work as a Facilities Maintenance Technician.
