Compassionate Academy

Compassionate Academy’s Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program is offered in Hyattsville, Maryland. It prepares students to provide nursing care in hospital and nursing home settings and leads to a license issued by the Maryland Board of Nursing upon completion. Training includes classroom and laboratory instruction under the supervision of clinical instructors. Subjects include anatomy and physiology, cognitive impairments and mental health issues, infection control, communication skills, personal care skills, basic nursing skills, and records-keeping.
