The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course offered by Community College of Denver (CCD) is designed to teach the fundamental skills necessary to become a successful nursing assistant. The course covers topics such as basic patient care, safety and infection control, medical terminology, and communication skills. Upon completion of the course, students will be eligible to take the state-administered CNA certification exam.
