The Patient Care Technician certification program at Columbus State Community College helps students acquire the skills and knowledge required to provide basic care to patients in a healthcare setting. The program covers topics such as patient safety, healthcare ethics, communication, and basic medical procedures. Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to sit for the national certification exam and start a career as a Patient Care Technician.

CSCC has a high-quality Certified Nursing Assistant class with a hardworking and thoughtful teacher. They are located in Columbus. CSCC has designed their Certified Nursing Assistant course to be flexible and convenient, with hybrid classes that can fit even the busiest schedules. The College's Strategic Plan evolved from comprehensive planning sessions involving several hundred faculty, staff, and administrators. This process engaged our entire community including a cross-section of alumni and regional leaders.
