Medical administrative assistant duties may include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, filing insurance claims, and answering incoming calls. Day-to-day office functions are part of a medical administrative assistants’ tasks. Students completing this program are eligible to take the NHA Certified Medical Administrative Assistant exam. Employment opportunities can include: hospitals, urgent care settings, and private physician offices.

This program is a series of three highly engaging and interactive courses which prepare Certified Nursing Assistants working in a hospital setting to perform/deliver additional patient care tasks.

The Phlebotomy Technician works in a healthcare setting such as a hospital, clinic, or patient service center in an outpatient laboratory and draws blood from patients or donors for analysis or other medical purposes.
