Certification

Complete the online PALS precourse self-assessment and successfully participate in and complete all learning stations, written exam, BLS skills tests, and PALS case scenarios. You'll receive an AHA PALS Provider eCard, valid for two years. one updates to incorporate the latest scientific advancements outlined in the 2015 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC. This Instructor-led course, conducted in a classroom setting, utilizes a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce crucial concepts related to a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. Its primary objective is to enhance the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, ultimately leading to improved outcomes.

The PALS course is specifically tailored for healthcare professionals who are involved in the management of respiratory and/or cardiovascular emergencies, as well as cardiopulmonary arrest cases in pediatric patients. This includes individuals working in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive and critical care units, and other healthcare settings where PALS certification is a requirement for job roles.
