The Medical Assisting program at Carrington College consists of three main educational components: Clinical, Administrative, and Externship. Medical assistants are trained to help patients and physicians throughout a medical office or clinic. They combine interesting medical work, such as taking vitals or administering medication, with day-to-day tasks of a medical office, such as scheduling appointments or completing clerical work.

Carrington College’s Medical Billing and Coding program prepares graduates to accurately interpret medical records, including diagnoses and procedures of healthcare providers, as well as to document and code the information for submission to insurance companies.
