Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVAC-R)

Carrington College’s HVAC-R program provides graduates with practical training on theories of heating, refrigeration, and air conditioning. Students study the operation, maintenance and repair of residential and commercial equipment.

Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician program at Carrington College trains graduates to master the basic principles, applications, concepts, and functions of hydraulic systems, bearing and seal types, and power transmission components, service and maintain industrial machinery, and illustrate the transmission of power through gears, belts, chains, and fluid power electrical controls including programmable logic controllers.
